Edellisenä päivänä sain polttarikirjeen postilaatikkoon. Siinä oli aika jolloin pitää olla valmis ja vähän vaateohjeita. Aamulla oli kyllä jo tosi jännittävä fiilis…
Polttaripäiväni oli heinäkuun viimeinen lauantai. Säätiedotus oli lupaillut sateita ja muutama kuuro saatiinkin. Keli ei haitannut päiväämme ollenkaan. Kaaso haki minut aamupäivällä kotoa koristellulla sähkömopolla. Sain vaaleanpunaisen kypärän, johon kiinnitetty pitsiä hunnuksi. Sitten lähdimme ajelemaan. Sain vilkutella kyydistä, kun muutama tuttu oli kerääntynyt reitin varrelle odottelemaan…
Ajoimme kotoani Anjalan kartanopuistoon, jossa polttariporukka odotti minua. Tässä kohtaa tuli runsaat onnenitkut silkasta ilosta. Täällä sain päähäni floristi-serkkuni tekemän kukkaseppeleen. Serkkuni oli saapunut Kolilta asti ja se kosketti minua todella paljon. Ajelimme puistossa vielä kunniakierroksia ja skoolasimme yhdellä lempiviineistäni. Sain harjoitella rantalavalla häätanssia viinipullon kanssa 🙂
Kun tanssit oli tanssittu, oli pakopelin aika. Anjalan kartanolla on mahdollista pelata pakohuonetta. Peli oli hienosti liitetty kartanon historiaan. Päivän oppaamme Silja kertoili meille ensin kartanon historiasta ja selosti pelin vaiheita. Kartanolla liikkuu silloin tällöin harmaan leidin haamu ja yksi teljetyistä ovista aukesi itsestään, kun kuuntelimme selostusta. Voin sanoa, että koko seurue hätkähti.
Peliaikaa oli 60 minuuttia ja ratkoimme erilaisia arvoituksia. Hyvin pelasimme ja loppuratkaisu jäi ihan parista minuutista kiinni. Kiva oli, miten eri ihmiset tiimiytyivät niin hyvin. Pelin jälkeen oli pieni tauko ja sitten oli seuraavan aktiviteetin aika.
Minut ja pari muuta jäsentä ohjattiin laiturille odottamaan ja muut oppaan kanssa kohta meloivat esiin. Nousimme kanoottiin ja lähdimme pienelle melontaretkelle Kymijoelle. Oli tarkoitus meloa yhdelle sillalle asti, mutta tuuli yllätti meidät ja jouduimme kääntymään takaisin päin. Sillalle oli valmisteltu koristeltu lakana minua varten, jonka veljeni kaverinsa kanssa olisi pudottanut.
Melonnasta selvittiin kuivana maalle ja sitten taas mopon kyytiin ja seuraavaan kohteeseen. Koitin matkalla arvailla mihin minua oikein viedään ja yllätys säilyi loppuun asti. Oli ruokailun vuoro. Pääsin Inkeroisten Luksulle tekemään hamppareita seurueelle Masterchef-tyyliin. Porukka tilasi hamppikset ja sain tehdä ne yhdessä kokin kanssa ja laatia oman hampurilaisen myös. Tämä oli nostalgista ja hauskaa, koska äitini oli pitkään kyseisessä paikassa töissä. Hampparit maistuivat ja joimme kahvitkin aterian päälle. Ihanaa oli, että tähän tuli pari polttarivierasta lisää. Muistoksi sain vielä paidan tästä paikasta.
Ruokailun jälkeen lähdimme yhden polttariryhmäläisen kotiin, jossa meitä odotti sauna ja palju. Luvassa oli vielä rentoa yhdessäoloa. Oltaisiin voitu lähteä vielä meripäiville Kotkaan, mutta totesin että mukavampi olla rauhassa yhdessä ja se oli hyvä päätös. Paljussa meni monta tuntia hyviä juomia maistellen ja nauraen pitkälle yöhön. Meitä palveli myös oma poolboy. Saunoessa ryhmä teki muutamat morsiustaiatkin. Paljuiluun oli varattu pieni merenneito-tiara ja vaaleanpunaiset krocsit. Piha oli koristeltu ilmapalloilla ja ruseteilla. Saimme vielä salaattia, karkkeja, sipsejä ja suklaasuukkoja. Dippikastike jäi vähiin, kun koira kävi nauttimassa sen kodasta vaivihkaa…
Päivä oli aivan ihana ja upeaa miten tiimi oli keksinyt kaiken ihan tästä omilta kulmilta. Uusia ystävyyksiä syntyi valmisteluiden aikana ja se on upeaa.
