Kihlajaiset Pariisissa

Pariisi – kaupunki, jota kutsutaan myös rakkauden kaupungiksi. Pariisi on minulle kuin toinen kotikaupunki, olenhan käynyt siellä osan peruskoulustani sekä viettänyt monet lomat.  Pariisi on vienyt pysyvästi osan sydämestäni.

Mieheni ei ollut ennen viime kevättä koskaan käynyt Ranskassa. Maaliskuussa juhlittiin mieheni kolmekymppisiä ja ostin hänelle lahjaksi lennot Pariisiin. Matkalle suuntasimme viime toukokuussa. Matkastamme tuli lopulta ikimuistoisempi, kuin osasin odottaakaan. Synttärimatkan lisäksi, siitä tuli myös meidän kihlajaismatkamme.

Kihlajaispäivänä mieheni oli valmistanut meille piknikin Champ de Marsin puistoon, jossa hän kysyi sen maagisen kysymyksen polvistuen. Ihanan romanttista! Vastaukseni oli tietenkin myönteinen niin kuin tässä vaiheessa arvata saattaa.

 

       

 

Päivämme huipentui kokin, vain meille kahdelle, valmistamaan illalliseen. Vihdoin minutkin oli saatu yllätettyä. Osasin nimittäin aavistaa jo aamusta, että jotain erityistä oli tekeillä. Minua varten valmistettu aamupäivän piknik sekä mies kauluspaidassa lähes kolmessakymmenessä asteessa sai aikaan tunteen, että tänään tapahtuu jotain erityistä.
