Kuulumisia ja polttarihuumaa

Taas on hetki vierähtänyt, että on ehtinyt rauhoittua ja istua blogin äärelle! Myös instagramin puolella on ollut hieman hiljaista, kesäkuussa ei oikein isoja suunnitelmia tehty. Nyt kuitenkin heinäkuussa uudella innolla taas on aloitettu jo konkreettisempi suunnittelu!

Kesäkuu tuntui menevän aivan silmän räpäyksessä ohi, kuumuus vei voimat ja oli tarpeen päästä hetkeksi rentoutumaan kotiseudulle juhannuksena. Muutamia ostoksia tuli tehtyä kuitenkin, olen hankkinut lisää kuivakukkia ja -heiniä koristeiksi ja tuntuu, että meidän koti alkaa pikkuhiljaa täyttymään kaikenlaisista asetelmista. Täytyy tosiaankin raaskia luopua osasta sitten häiden jälkeen. Pöytäkoristelut alkaa olemaan melko selkeät, pitää joku hetki kasata kaikki yhteen ja sommitella.
Myös kirppislöytöjä tuli tehtyä, kaksi kappaletta tienvarsikylttejä löytyi sopivasti. Ne tulen maalaamaan ja tuunaamaan heidän teemaan sopiviksi. Istumajärjestystaulu löytyi myös sekä reilut 10 isoa kirkasta vaasia, joihin asettelen sitten nämä tuhannet heinät. Maljakoita kun ei ole tarpeeksi, niin muutaman kukkamaljakot juuttikoristeilla nappasin myös. Alkaa jo tuntumaan, että maljakoita on nyt jo ihan tarpeeksi, täytyy tehdä joku hetki pieni inventaario.
Viimeisimpänä viime viikonloppuna löysin puistokirppikseltä BAR-kyltin, joka saa päälleen myös uuden maalikerroksen ja kultahippuja sekä hauskan valokuvalaatikon.

Polttarit lähestyvät!

Yksi paras osa naimisiin menossa on ehdottomasti polttarit! Saa antaa (melkein) vapaat kädet yhdeksi viikonlopuksi kaasoille ja ystäville, ei stressiä eikä etenkään tietoa mitä viikonloppu mahtaa sisältää!
Omalla kohdalla halusin loppujenlopuksi tietää milloin polttariviikonloppu on.
Ajankohdan selviäminen oli itselle melko rentouttava tieto, ei tarvitse arpoa ja jännittää mikä viikonloppu se lähtö tulee. Lisäksi olen sen verran introvertti ja kotihiiri, että tarvitsen latautumista ja omaa aikaa ennen juhlia tai viikonloppua, jossa tiedän olevan paljon sosiaalista kanssakäymistä. Vaikka aina on ihana nähdä ystäviä ja viettää aikaa, koen sosiaalisuuden vievän minusta paljon energiaa ja tarvitsen aikaa latautua. Näin pystyn olemaan rennompi, enemmän läsnä ja saan annettua itsestäni myös muille enemmän. Polttariviikon olenkin jo mielessäni pyhittänyt vain työlle ja kotona olemiselle.

Silloin, kun kosinta tapahtui ja hääpäivä oli päätetty, oli seuraavana heti tiedossa mitä suunnitellaan seuraavaksi, tottakai polttarit! Kun kaasot oli kosittu, aloin kertomaan ideoita mitä haluaisin polttareideni sisältävän, tuli heti mieleen jokin ihana kesäinen mökkiviikonloppu, rentoa tekemistä, hyvää ruokaa ja juomaa ja etenkin yhdessäoloa läheisimpien ystävien kanssa. Mielestäni polttareissa on tärkein tehdä siitä morsiamen näköinen tapahtuma ja vähän saada ainakin vinkkiä mitä olisi toiveissa. Kuitenkin jotain toimintaa olisi kiva olla, kivoja pelejä joihin kaikki voivat osallistua sekä jotakin morsiameen liittyvää pelkästään.

Kaiken kivan ideoinnin jälkeen oli pakko antaa pieni lista asioista joita EN halua polttareissani olevan. Ennen olin valmis vaikka hyppäämään benjin (tosin en koskaan saanut aikaiseksi mennä sitä tekemään) ja lentokoneesta alas. Nykyisin haluan pitää ehdottomasti jalat maassa, ei kovaa vauhtia, vaan tasaisen rauhallista menoa. Vanhuus ei tosiaan tule näemmä yksin. Joten kaikki liian extreme oli heti poissuljettuna. Toisena pyysin kauniisti, etten joutuisi pukeutumaan johonkin ampiaispukuun ja menemään myymään/keräämään mitään tuntemattomilta ihmisiltä. Vaikka usein tällaisiin porukoihin on itsekin kesäisin törmännyt ja kaikilla ollut hauskaa, ihmiset osallistuneet mielellään polttarisankarin juttuihin, ei se kuitenkaan tunnu omalta.

Viime vuonna sain itse olla osallisena kolmissa polttareissa, oli morsiamen sytyttämistä tuleen, kaupungilla rastikierrosta, paintball-sotaa ja siltahyppyä. Kivaa aktiviteettia ja aina jokaisen morsiamen näköistä ohjelmaa. Aktiviteettien lisäksi oli varattu mökkiviikonloppu saunoineen ja paljuineen, hyvää ruokaa ja juomaa riitti kaikille. Juhlittiin aina pikkutunneille asti ja aamulla odottikin runsas brunssi mimosan kera.
Vaikka polttareissa on järjestettävää ja mietittävää, on se usein myös rahallisestikin iso investointi osallistujilta. Painotin itse kaasoilleni, etten halua että kukaan mukaan haluamani ystävä joutuisi perumaan juhlia sen takia, ettei ole varaa, vaan budjetti olisi hyvä sommitella sen mukaan. Sovin myös laittavani itse rahaa kiinni omiin polttareihini, haluan osallistua vaikka ruoka/juomakustannuksiin, jotta kokonaissumma jää pienemmäksi osallistujilta.
Aikalailla annoin kaasoilleni vapaat kädet ja minulla on kyllä täysi luotto, että viikonlopusta/päivästä tai mitä järjestävätkään, tulee varmasti ikimuistoinen ja ennen kaikkea miun näköinen. Yksi toiveeni oli, että saan pukeutua valkoiseen mekkoon sinä viikonloppuna ja lähetyksessä mukana olleen kukkapannan mukaan se vaikuttaisi toteutuvan!

Tunnelmaan pääsee osittain jo tulevana viikonloppuna, sillä miehellä on polttarit! En tiedä viikonlopun kulusta muuta kuin perjantaina nouto ja toivottavasti sunnuntaina ehjänä palautus! Varmasti hauska viikonloppu tulossa, en malta päästä kuulemaan mitä siellä on pään menoksi keksitty.
