Häiden valokuvaus, mikä kinkkinen juttu.. Oli talvi, kesä, syksy tai kevät, tulee taivaalta arvaamattomasti vaikka ja mitä. Talvella häitään juhliville lisähaasteita tuo kylmyys ja pakkanen (mitä siis todella en toivo kesän morsiamille, mutta ei tuostakaan nykyään tiedä…). Meidän hääkuvaukset toteutettiin joulukuun alussa muutaman pakkasasteen antimissa, kauniissa lumisessa maisemassa. Mieleeni jäi kuitenkin muutama vinkki, jonka haluan jakaa muille talvi morsiamille:
- Kuvien ottaminen talvisessa luonnossa on ihanaa! Talvinen ihmemaa tuo kuviin kauniin tunnelman. Seurailkaa kuitenkin säämuutoksia tarkkaan hääviikolla.
- Mikäli hääkuvat otetaan ulkona, tehkää kuvien varalta suunnitelma B. Mikäli taivaalta sataa tiskirättejä, on kuvissa ikävää tönöttää. Meidän suunnitelma B:nä oli ”suljettu/katettu” junarata, jonka päällä oli silta. Näin säästyimme kaikki kastumiselta. Suojaisia paikkoja ovat mm. sillan aluset, tiheät metsät, kuistit, hylätyt ladot ym.
- Hankkikaa itsellenne jonkinlainen turkis/takki/viitta. Tämän lisäksi ottakaa kuvauksiin mukaanne paksu toppatakki sekä HANSKAT! Vaikka ulkona ei olisi kova pakkanen, hääkuvien ottaminen ulkosalla pienessäkin plussa-asteessa on kylmää puuhaa! Lisäksi sormuskuvistanne tulee hyvin epämääräiset, kun kätenne ovat kylmät ja aivan täynnä punertavia pilkkuja.
- Varatkaa kuvaukseen avustaja, joka ojentelee teille takkeja kun niitä tarvitsette. Huomasimme, että meidän kuvauksissa tämä henkilö oli ehdoton! Hän toimi myös hääkimpun pitäjänä, sillä tuota kauneutta ei uskaltanut maahan laskea.
- Organisoikaa kuvaukset hyvin. Tämä oli meille ainakin tärkeää! Olisi ollut kurjaa seisottaa kaikkia kaasoja ulkona pakkasessa pitkään katsellakseen meidän kuvauksia. Meillä otettiin alkuun first look -kuvat, tämän jälkeen kaasopotretit, jotta kaasot pääsivät juhlapaikalle lämpimään ohjeistamaan ihmisiä ja viimeiseksi jäimme keskenämme kuvaajamme kanssa.
- Talviseen teemaan sopii erityisesti pitkähihaiset puvut. Vinkkinäni on katsoa pitkähihaisten pukujen tarjonta tai miettiä sopisiko unelmapukuusi päälle laitettava pitsibolero?
Meidän häidemme valokuvauksen hoiti ystävämme Heli Jalo Photography. Kuvat olivat kaikkea sitä mitä odotimme ja enemmänkin. Päivämme motto Helin kanssa oli: mennään fiiliksellä. Emme sopineet kuvauksen suhteen oikeestaan muuta kuin aloituspaikan ja ajan. Kerroimme myös first look -kuvauksesta, jotta kuvaaja oli hereillä tilanteessa. Muuten menimme ”go with the flow” -asenteella. Suosittelen katselemaan mm. Pinterestistä muutamia kuvausideoita muistiin, joita pystytte hyödyntämään kuvaustilanteessa kun tulee hetki ”mitäs sitten”.
Lisäksi meidän häissämme yksi kaasoistamme vastasi ns. kuvauksesta. Olin tehnyt hänelle pientä kirjanpitoa, kenestä kaikista pitää saada yhteiskuvat. Koimme tämä hyväksi, sillä hänellä oli asia hyppysissään koko illan. Saimme kaikki haluamamme yhteiskuvat otettua, mutta ilman organisointia olisi muutama saattanut unohtua. Päivä on täynnä hulinaa ja melskettä, joten osa haluamistamme kuvista olisi saattanut unohtua.
