Mennään naimisiin -lehden järjestämän Vuoden Miesten Sormus -yleisöäänestyksen voitti kultaseppä Gad Leinsonin kultaa ja titaania yhdistävä sormus.
Mennään naimisiin -lehti järjesti tänä vuonna ensimmäistä kertaa Suomessa Vuoden Miesten Sormus -äänestyksen. Esiraadin valitsemista ehdokkaista koostuvat finalistit esiteltiin Mennään naimisiin -lehdessä sekä Facebook-sivuilla ja yleisö sai äänestää suosikkiaan. Kesän aikana ehdokkaat keräsivät runsaasti ääniä.
Vuoden Miesten Sormus -äänestyksellä haluttiin nostaa vaihtoehtoja miehen perinteisen pantasormuksen rinnalle sekä tuoda myös sulhasen roolia häissä paremmin esiin.
– Kilpailu onnistui yli odotusten. Sormukset kiinnostivat yleisöä ja saivat hurjasti hyvää palautetta, päätoimittaja Paula Kirvesmäki iloitsee.
Vuoden Miesten Sormus -voittaja palkitaan virallisesti Mennään naimisiin -häämessujen yhteydessä 13.1.2018 Helsingin Wanhassa Satamassa.
Gad Leinsonin kultaa ja titaania yhdistävä sormus keräsi eniten ääniä
Äänestyksessä eniten ääniä saanut GL-Korun kultaseppä Gad Leinsonin kaksiosainen sormus nappasi Vuoden Miesten Sormus -tittelin.
– Olen otettu ja iloinen sormuksemme suuresta suosiosta. Kullan ja titaanin yhdistäminen on teknisesti haastavaa, mutta samalla tämä kombinaatio luo paljon mahdollisuuksia, Leinson kertoo.
Äänestäjät kokivat rouhean miehekkään kaksivärisen sormuksen symboloivan kihla- ja vihkisormusta yhdessä. Ajaton design sekä yksinkertainen tyylikkyys hurmasivat äänestäjät.
– Valmistamme sormukset käsityönä ja ne ovat kaikki yksilöitä. Voittajasormus suunniteltiin miehille, jotka haluavat sormukselta voimakasta ja persoonallista ulkoasua, Leinson kuvailee.
Toiseksi äänestyksessä nousi Au3 kultaseppien Jussi Louesalmen sormus, jossa yhdistyvät titaanin modernisuus materiaalina ja vanha japanilainen Mokume Gane -tekniikka. Äänestäjät ihastuivat sormuksen herkkään kuviointiin, joka toi mieleen muun muassa puun syyt, aallot ja tunturimaisemat.
– On hyvä, että miesten sormuksia nostetaan esiin, sille miehille on ollut melko vähän persoonallisia sormusmalleja tarjolla. Tämä sormus on erityinen, koska se on uniikki. Kuviot ovat aina erilaisia, toista samanlaista sormusta ei tule vastaan. Sormus sopii modernille sulhaselle, joka arvostaa yksilöllisyyttä ja ainutlaatuisuutta, Louesalmi kertoo.
